Visit some of the key Anzac sites of the Vietnam War on this Private Tour which will commence on any day of your choosing.

The Vietnam War was the longest twentieth century conflict in which Australians participated. Involvement in the war cost more than 500 Australian servicemen their lives while some 3000 were wounded, otherwise injured or were victims of illness. We visit all the major battle sites in Phuoc Tuy Province including the Long Tan Cross memorial site. The battle of Long Tan was Australia’s most costly single engagement of the Vietnam War. Although there were bigger and more sustained battles involving larger formations, few were so intense and dramatic. You can join our Flexi Tour on any day you choose, meaning your battlefield tour will easily slot into your holiday itinerary.

Day 1 > Saigon to Vung Tau

Today begin your Vietnam Battlefields tour. Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your Saigon hotel for the drive to Vung Tau. On arrival in Vung Tau you will have an orientation tour of the town including the former 1 ALSG base, the airport, former Peter Badcoe Club site and Martyrs’ Memorial (Viet Cong Memorial), located where the headquarters of the 1st Australian Logistic Support Unit once stood. Continue to your hotel for check-in and enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure.

Day 2 > Long Tan

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before driving to the battlefield at Long Tan and the Long Tan Cross memorial site. Continue with a visit the former Minh Dam Secret Zone.
